The answer is a resounding YES. And that’s because Mother Earth is the boss. Anyone else who thinks they are the boss is sorely mistaken!
Earth energy is incredibly strong right now and gets stronger this week, as the North Node of Fate shifts back into Taurus, the same sign where Uranus will station direct. We are ever so aware of our physicality as humans. This body is a miracle, and it’s also a conduit of energy, meaning that we can often feel in our bodies what is happening out in the world at large. This is something they don’t teach in school or talk about on CNN, but it’s true, nonetheless.

More than ever, we are being asked to tap into the energy of love in the most difficult situations (like being with family members who have polar opposite beliefs), even if that also means setting boundaries in our interactions with others. This week the waning moon moves from the last quarter square to her dark, “balsamic” phase, as the New Moon in Capricorn occurs on January 2. The energy of polarity is building and pressurizing.

It’s eclipse season! Many people I spoke with felt the intensity of the Full Moon lunar eclipse on November 19 for several days before and after. We are all awakening in our own way. Unlike “regular” New Moons, which have more initiatory or beginning energy, the total solar eclipse on December 3/4 tells us that it is time to clean up – a spiritual housecleaning, if you will. We don’t have to carry those old, global wounds anymore like smelly boxes stored in the garage of our being. But how do we let go of something that feels so ingrained in our ancestry in order to make room for all of the light that wants to come in instead?
